I believed it was a dead something and i was not going to go looking for it.

Something died in my attic.

This can make a house uninhabitable until the stench has been eliminated. Last summer i believed an odor coming out of my kitchen was coming down from the ceiling. I hear something in my attic. Follow these steps to eliminate the odor problem.

Unfortunately this smell can be produced by any member of the rodent family mice rats etc that may have found its way into your walls attic or crawlspaces and died.
